Welsh Bara Brith Inspired Soda Bread
Linda's sweet soda bread inspired by traditional Welsh bara brith, featuring dried fruits soaked in brandy. The bread aimed to recreate the flavors of Welsh tea cakes in soda bread form.
Paul: 'Okay, this one's a little doughier... Nice favor, though. It's cranberries.' Prue: 'A bit more cake like... Is it cranberries, chocolate and sea salt. I'm not getting a cranberry. It's just a little bit weak... Just needs a bit more.' The concept was appreciated but execution needed stronger flavors and better texture.
