The iconic wheel shaped biscuit was first manufactured by Burton's Foods Ltd. in Great Britain in the middle of the 20th century.
Paul Hollywood: "I think there's many different elements to a Wagon Wheel. It's quite tricky. You need a layer of crunchy biscuit, with a layer of marshmallow which needs to be just right (neither too rubbery nor too runny) and then the chocolate coating must be nice and even over the top.
Prue Leith: " The chocolate should be firm enough to hold that marshmallow. It's a beautiful biscuit - the trick is to assemble it without panicking. "
