Bread and Butter Pickle Curd

Ingredients
1 cup bread and butter pickle liquid (strained)
3 large egg yolks
1/3 cup sugar
3 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon cornstarch (cornflour)
Pinch of turmeric (for color enhancement)

Instructions
Whisk egg yolks, sugar, and cornstarch in a bowl.
Heat pickle liquid in saucepan until warm.
Slowly whisk warm liquid into egg mixture to temper.
Return to pan, cook over medium-low heat, whisking constantly until thickened.
Strain, whisk in butter and turmeric.
Cover with plastic wrap directly on surface, chill.
