Thanks to its strong motor, you can mix even heavier doughs with ease. Assistent Original® also has motor feedback, meaning that the machine itself can regulate its speed depending on the load. Its unique gear unit allows the machine to be both powerful and quiet.
A huge 7 litre bowl makes this the ideal machine for making large batches of dough. It can mix 1.5 L of dough liquid and 5 kg of dough without a problem.
Assistent Original® has an attractive and sleek design, low noise levels, and sits firmly on your worktop. Assistent Original® 6230 includes a 7 L stainless bowl, dough roller, dough knife, spatula, dough hook and proving lid. A 3.5 L whisking bowl in Tritan plastic for best results, balloon whisks and shortcrust dough hooks. Handle and control knobs in chrome-plated zinc. And also a Ankarsrum Recipe book.
This is the follow-up to the classic Assistent that was previously manufactured by Electrolux. Available in a variety of colours.

Hello! Saw this mixer yrs ago. Hesitated about spending. However, had it for about 2 months.
Struggled with sourdough for years! Carefully researched this product and decided it could handle higher hydration doughs; it does! The stainless bowl can go into dishwasher; ditto dough scraper and mixer. Really like it and helps make excellent bread. Have the red stand; use daily!

I love my Ank! I decided on Coral Crush to add a little happiness in the kitchen. For me, there really wasn’t a learning curve. I loved it from the first use. It’s a beast…a beautiful beast. I mill my own wheat berries, and Miss Annie Ank handles the dense dough fabulously!

Love my new Ankarsrum! First use and my bread dough was perfect. Second use, it perfectly whipped cream in under a minute. The only thing I don’t like is when using the plastic bowl with the center “tower,” it’s near impossible to manually fold in later ingredients. The tower is in the way. Other than that, this machine and its design is sheer genius.

Time will tell if this stands the test of…well, time, lol. So far, the ank has been nothing short of wonderful. It’s a luxury, and one that I am grateful to be able to afford. I have never been able to knead dough well, and have been baking gummy, dense bread my entire life (much to my family’s chagrin). Now, I bake almost every single day, and my kitchen is a source of joy instead of a place I make frequent mistakes in, lol.
The machine itself is heavy, sturdy, and wonderful. I wish the plastic cookie bowl were metal, because the metal cookie bowl that you can buy separately is hard to find. Other than that, it’s quiet, built well, and works amazingly. Simple to use, just trust the machine and let it work its magic. Watch some videos on how to use it so you’re ready when it arrives, and prepare to be amazed!!
