Mint and Strawberry

For his showstopper, Dave (Series 11, Cake Week) made a cake by combining mint and strawberry. 

In principle, this should be a lovely combination, but Paul Hollywood tasted it and said "Toothpaste." Prue Leith agreed  "The mint is so strong and has a very chemical taste."
