Pressure Cooking Beetroot for Intensity

While oven-roasting beetroot in foil parcels is reliable, pressure cooking for 25 minutes concentrates their earthy sweetness more intensely. The high-pressure environment prevents flavour compounds from escaping as steam. Either method works, but if you own a pressure cooker and want maximum beetroot punch, it's worth the switch.
