Creating Luis' signature spiral pattern requires equal-sized dough rectangles and careful rolling technique. Roll each flavored dough to identical dimensions using guides or measuring. Layer the darker dough on top of the lighter for maximum visual contrast. Roll tightly like a jelly roll, maintaining even pressure to prevent air pockets. Use a sharp knife dipped in flour between cuts to preserve the spiral pattern. Place cut-side up to showcase the beautiful swirled interior.
