"The second dish that we would like to taste is from the south. It featured absolute perfect seasoning. So please come forward, Reagan."


"The crunch on that chicken is perfect. Reagan, please describe your dish."


Chef Reagan: "We have festivals in New Orleans, so I chose the fried chicken festival because it's black owned, and so I wanna make sure I highlight that. I made a pine chicken breast with a lemon butter crab sauce over garlic mashed potatoes and a deconstructed hot sauce."


Judges: "The gilding of the crab meat, that's very typical New Orleans. I'm interested to see how everything mingles."


"The chicken is cooked beautifully. It's moist, it's juicy, it's succulent. But the real joy here is just the seasoning in that panne, and the harmony of those flavors is beautiful. So pretty. Good job."


"The chicken and that sauce and the seasoning and the fry all day long. Everything about this dish is spot on, and it's a dish that you want to eat all of. Good job."
