Three-variety Asian-inspired monkey bread made with milk bread dough containing Chinese five-spice. Features red bean curd in red dough balls, Asian pesto ('green like an Asian pestle') with morning glory vegetables, and sesame seed variety. Pui Man loves milk bread and hopes the judges will too.
Dull appearance without glaze - could be shiny. Good ball size. Red bean curd and Asian pesto varieties need more salt to bring out flavors. Sesame variety has very little flavor. Balls are baked all right but need more proving to open up - not getting huge amount of flavor overall.
