Who made this dish?

Jenn: "I'm calling these my boomerang biscuit bars. I have a sister who lives in Australia, and so these are Australian flavors."

Voice-over: "A macadamia shortbread will serve as the base for Jen's boomerang bars. That will get a punch of umami from an unexpected Aussie flavor in her caramel. She's using Vegemite!"

Paul Hollywood: "Vegemite?"

Jenn: "Yeah. It's like yeast extract."

Paul Hollywood: "Caramel yeast extract?"

Jenn: "Yes."

Paul Hollywood: "Why did you come up with this?"

Jenn: "Somebody's got to be the innovator and do something nobody's ever done before."

Prue Leith: "That's like a millionaire shortbread, isn't it? Is it a short bread?"

Jenn: "Yes. Macadamia shortbread. And then on top of that is a vegemite caramel."

(Judges taste.)

Paul Hollywood: "I mean, it's odd. It is slightly odd."

Prue Leith: "I think it's really lovely. That's a savory kick. It's a bit like salted caramel."

Paul Hollywood: "I quite like the macadamia nut flavor. That's quite nice. However, the caramel? I'm not over enamored about it. Maybe it is that yeast extract I don't particularly like. Decent job there, Jen. Just not my favorite flavors."
