Duyen presented: 'I made you guys a buffed chicken with cheesy rainbow grits and Christmas flavours.' She included a sprig of rosemary styled as a small Christmas tree as garnish. When a kid asked 'What's this?' she replied: 'That's a rosemary leaf, like a Christmas tree.' Kid: 'I thought you were trying to feed me a leaf.' During prep she said: 'I am gonna do some baked cheesy grits with some crispy chicken tenders.' She also incorporated pomegranate for festive colour.

Kristen (after tasting): 'It's a very strong flavour, Duyen. Thank you.' Kid judge Kinsley named it as a least favourite: 'The chicken and the grits — when I tasted the grits, I didn't like it.' Fortune: 'They tasted like sweet. It kind of threw the balance off a bit.'
