Beef-stock Japanese curry served with a crispy rice onigiri and filet mignon marinated two ways: a miso-yogurt skewer, and a thin seared-and-sliced shio-koji steak. Emily built her own curry from scratch rather than reaching for a block. Emily: "I have a beef stock Japanese curry. I did a crispy rice onigiri with beef that I marinated two ways. One is a miso yogurt on a skewer, and one is a shio koji seared steak that's sliced." Padma: "Did you make your own curry?" Emily: "Of course I made my own curry." Padma: "Good girl."
Michael Cimarusti: "[I] find the flavour of the beef a bit demure. Rest of the dish exciting and fun."
