Lime and Passion Fruit Basque Cheesecake
Jasmine: "I'm going to be doing a lime cheesecake then I'm going to have some passion fruit mascarpone curd cream on top and then some fresh mango on top of that.""
Jasmine: "I love passion fruit. These are my favorite summer flavors. And when it's 30 degrees outside all I want is mango and passion fruit. Makes me feel like I'm somewhere exotic."
Jasmine: "I've grated the zest of eight limes."
The Basque cheesecake features candied lime peel, mint leaves and sliced mango shaped into a rose.
Paul: "Very pretty isn't it? Stuck a little around the edge?"
Jasmine: "Yeah it's caught a little bit there isn't it?"
Paul: "But it's nicely brown. Properly burnt."
Jasmine: "I worked for that."
Prue: "It is very delicious and I like the texture."
Paul: "Have you got zest in there as well?"
Prue: "Quite a lot."
Paul: "And it really carries the flavor through. I think you've done a great job with that because it's quite cooling as well with the passion fruit cream. It's delicious and it works well with the interior overall. Very nice."
Prue: "I'm trying not to eat it all. I would like to just get stuck in and finish it."
