Mango shaped macarons bursting with mango chantilly cream, passion fruit curd and a rich mango jelly center, a tribute to Meeki's father and the mango tree he planted as a boy in his Indian village. 

Meeki: "When I was growing up, my dad would always talk about how in his village he planted a mango tree when he was a kid. And then when he got older, he would study under the trees. So mangoes are meaningful for all Indian people, but I think they hold a special symbolism for my family. I mean, my dad really loves that tree is all I have to say." 

Meeki: "And then I have a mango tea towel here. This I had in my audition to get here. So I'm hoping it pulls through today." 

Meeki: "These macarons are looking pretty neat, and some of them are rising, so I think we're in okay shape." 

Meeki: "So this is the mango jelly and a passion fruit curd." 

Meeki: "I'm so grateful to, like, have a chance to do macarons. They're one of the things I grew up making." 

Meeki: "So I'm just piping a rim of Chantilly, putting this passion fruit and mango core." 

Meeki: "Now I'm going to get these leaves on. So cute." 

Meeki: "It's a bit of a mouthful." 

Meeki (after judging): "Oh, my God. This is, like, hugely validated. And just like, reassure me that, sure, some of my experimental flavor combinations may not be what they like, but there are some things that will resonate. What a turnaround from week one."
