At presentation: 'I grilled a New York strip that was marinated in a little dehydrated olive. The sauce is like an XO style steak sauce, and then on the side, some marinated and dehydrated mushrooms, citrus fried leeks.'
Kristen: 'Justin's sauce, it's rich, it's fatty, it's salty, it's delicious.' Kristen (also): 'I really found the sauce to be very overpowering.' Tom: 'It's good, but there's too many ideas happening here.' Gail: 'I've got everything on the plate, which is always important.' Note: The transcript also references a dish described as 'spa food' with 'too many dehydrated elements' that 'tasted like raw vegetables.' It is possible this refers to another competitor (possibly Sieger) rather than Justin.
