Pineapple & Passion Fruit Upside Down Cake

Natasha created a Caribbean-inspired upside down cake featuring the traditional pineapple combination with a twist of passion fruit. She made a syrup with passion fruit for the pineapple topping.
Mary Berry: 'It does look so inviting. Everything is in the right proportion.' Paul Hollywood: 'That's delicious.' Mary: 'It tastes really good.' Paul: 'I'm actually struggling to find something to have a go at. Flavor, texture, color. Well done.' The judges noted that heating passion fruit is unusual as it loses some intensity, but the overall result was excellent.
