Cara: "My dumplings, I made a dish from Ukraine. Ricotta vareniki, sour cream and poppy seed, a little honey, sour cherries, walnut vinegar, and vareniki wrapping crispine." 


Cara (context): "My wife is Ukrainian, so I hope I'm not bastardizing too much. I'm also worried about her mom — mother-in-laws are where the judges are." Plated first of the dumpling round.

 "A nice looking dish that tastes like a blintz." 


"Yeah, that's cheese — cheese blintzes." 


Kwame: "Sauce is beautiful. Poppy seed, lots of lemon. It's bright, it's acidic." 


Padma: "Her dumplings are great because she has the crunchy and she has the soft on the other side." 


Roy : "I'm not that up on Ukrainian flavors, but I want to go Ukraine."
