Sticky Toffee Pudding (Naomi)

Sticky toffee pudding with what was meant to be a toffee sauce, a caramelised poached pear and vanilla cream.
Naomi made three failed toffee sauces and ended up using a reduction of the pear-poaching liquor with cream and butter as her sauce.
Naomi: "I've made three toffee sauces. I'm not happy with them, so I'm going to reduce the liquor from poaching the pear and add the cream and butter to that instead. It might not be a toffee sauce, but it's really tasty."
Anna: "The pudding itself, it's moist and fluffy and falls apart. It's got a lovely glisten to it, but the parts around it are letting it down."
Grace: "Your pears, there's some nice notes of spice, but really needed the caramelisation. Your whipped vanilla cream has an awful lot of sugar, and because you've used the poaching liquor, it's made the dish far too sweet."
Naomi was eliminated.
