Stormy Cloud Macarons

As seen on TV
Which Show?
Who made this dish?
Stormy cloud shaped macarons filled with chocolate ganache and hazelnut praline crunch with a hidden cherry gel lightning bolt center, inspired by Melissa's strangely productive habit of playing her best golf rounds when thunderstorms are rolling in. Melissa was named Star Baker of cookie week after a strong showing across both challenges. Melissa: "I like to play golf and I usually have my best round when I know there's an impending like thunder lightning storm because I'm terrified of getting struck by lightning." Melissa: "So I've decided to add a cherry gel that I'm going to put in the inside as well. I like to think as the cloud is the chocolate ganache fluffiness, the cherry is going to be the lightning bolt that hits you." Melissa: "Oh, if this is a goal to be able to play with you, Paul, add that to my bucket list. I'll tell you that now." Melissa: "Usually I'm doing this calmly in front of a television with my daughter next to me." Melissa: "So now I'm spreading my ganache on the bottom, topping it with some cherry gel." Melissa: "I wanted to get the zing from the cherry."
Paul: "I think these were quite nice as a macaron."
Prue: "And you've done the thunderbolts really well."
Prue: "That is a lot of filling."
Paul: "Hazelnut comes through really nicely with the chocolate. Rich chocolate. It's quite indulgent."
Prue: "There's a real zip from the cherry. I love that. I think it's a really good effort."
