Ingredients
Asparagus spears, woody ends snapped (12 spears, approx 200g; medium thickness preferred)
Olive oil (15ml / 1 tbsp)
Flaky salt (½ tsp)

Instructions
1. Toss asparagus spears in olive oil and flaky salt until evenly coated.
2. Heat a ridged griddle pan or cast-iron skillet over high heat until smoking. Cook asparagus in a single layer 2–3 minutes per side until tender and charred at the tips. Alternatively, cook directly over a gas flame using tongs for a more intense char.
3. Serve immediately.
