Irish Cheese Board Monkey Bread
Three-variety monkey bread modeled after an Irish cheese board with three lovely Irish cheeses. Blue cheese combined with pear and fennel, hard cheese with apple and caramelized onion, and brie-style cheese with blackberry and rosemary. Rolled in walnuts. Ian makes bread every day and his girlfriend Dervla gave her seal of approval to these flavor combinations.
Love the setup, great bake with nice strong color and visible individual balls. Wonderful sharpness from blackberries with rich cheese. Superb flavors, walnuts worked really well with pear and blue cheese together. Ended up with something quite delicious.
