Giuseppe piped swirls of gianduja crème patisserie into brandy snap baskets which were flavored with chopped roasted hazelnuts.

Jürgen's chai spices, cinnamon, cardamom and clove flavored both his brandy snap baskets and the crème patisserie filling.

Paul Hollywood: "The spice blend works really well."

Jairzeno's ambitious brandy snaps were filled with dark chocolate and lime ganache, passionfruit curd and decorated with chunks of spiced pineapple.

Prue Leith: "I didn't expect the chocolate to work with all the fruit, but it does. However, I think  the flavors are all too strong."

Paul Hollywood: "These are small and messy. The idea was sound but not well-executed."

Flavored with coffee liqueur and espresso, Chigs' boozy coffee cream filled ginger and cinnamon spiced brandy snaps.

Paul Hollywood: "Chocolate is good. The brandy snap has a lovely snap. Just the right amount of sweetness."

For extra flavour, Amanda added sesame seeds to her brandy snaps which she filled with zesty orange curd and stem ginger cream.

Prue Leith: "The flavor is absolutely delicious."

Paul Hollywood: "The brandy snaps are very delicate - which is to say that they're really falling apart. The stem ginger and sesame seeds together work beautifully. 

George's brandy snaps were a celebration of Cypriot flavors. Chopped pistachios decorated snaps that were filled with orange blossom and mastika cream. (Paul Hollywood warned that mastika can be really strong.)

Prue Leith: "Oh! The mastika ... heaven! This is original and sensational."

Paul Hollywood: "They are a bit irregular in size. The orange blossom and mastika work very well together."

Inspired by the English summer, Maggie added créme de cassis and blackcurrants to her chantilly cream.

aps soggy."

Paul Hollywood: "I love the tanginess from the blackcurrants but the practicalities of the dish didn't work out very well."

Crystelle's brandy snap baskets were loaded with tart apple filling and topped with a vanilla chantilly cream and crumble topping.

Paul Hollywood: "Flavor combination is beautiful. In fact both the texture and flavor are great."

Lizzie's brandy snaps were shaped into a bowl, filled with vanilla creme diplomat and topped with apples caramelized in calvados.

Inspired by her favourite drink, Freya's brandy snap baskets combined hazelnut praline with a coconut based vegan coffee cream.

Prue Leith: " I think they look absolutely scrumptious. Good snap. Nice flavour but perhaps a little too strong."

Paul Hollywood: "They look quite dark, perhaps because of the coffee in the snap. Nice lace effect. A little too much coffee."

Shaped like mini ice-cream cones, Rochica's coffee and Irish Cream filled brandy snaps were decorated with chocolate and crunch hazelnuts.
