If you end up with green tomatoes (usually by accident - most of us prefer to buy ... or pick ... those lovely ruby-red one) this is a great dish to serve up.
Today my grandson Calvin (above), who is twenty months old, decided to harvest his family tomato plants despite the fact that the tomatoes were green. So, adopting the lemon-lemonade thing, what better than to make up a new recipe for fried green tomatoes. Here's what tastes good to me:
