Apple Crumble Flapjacks

{Tom}: "Today I'm making apple crumble flapjack. But this is kind of pushing the brief in terms of what a flapjack is." {Tom}: "So it should look like the top half of an apple and then when you slice it open, you're like, oh, there's a flapjack hiding inside there." {Tom}: "Aiming for an A star, Tom's flamboyant flapjacks will be surrounded by apple puree and custard fillings before being encased in a white chocolate apple shaped shell."
{Paul}: "It's very clever, Tom. It just absolutely says apple crumble." {Prue}: "I really love it." {Paul}: "So clever." {Prue}: "We said we didn't want a boring flapjack." {Paul}: "Amazing." {Prue}: "I love the intricacy of the decoration." {Paul}: "I think they look neat as a pin. I love the chewiness. It's not too sweet." {Prue}: "Chewiness check, texture check and flavor check. So I think you've ticked all the boxes."
