Manon
Born and raised in France, Manon learned to bake with her mother and grandmother, who made everything from scratch – from breads to desserts and biscuits. However, although she grew up in a foodie French family, it was in London that Manon found her passion for baking, arriving in the city to work as an au pair and being blown away by the style and variety of bakeries that the city has to offer.
Now she takes inspiration not only from her French heritage, and her London discoveries, but also from her travels around the world. She creates bakes that are pretty and precise and have bags of personality.
2026 Update
New cookbook on the way. Her third book, La Saison, a year in my kitchen, is available for pre-order and will be released on 7 May 2026 Substack. She wrote and shot it over the past year, splitting time between the South of France and her London home, following her previous titles Et Voilà! and Chez Manon.
New ventures. Her Instagram bio now lists her as founder of Café Manon Coffee Instagram, a new coffee brand alongside her existing work as a content creator and cookbook author.
US book tour teased. She's hinted at US Book Tour events she'll be hosting next year Substack, with Substack "Golden Members" getting first registration access.
Personal life. Now a mum of two living in a London townhouse with husband Luke, she opened 2026 with a reflective post about entering the year with calmness and gratitude rather than big resolutions Substack, having watched close friends navigate serious health challenges.
