Kristen Kish: "Please welcome your guest judge, comedian and food show junkie, Punkie Johnson."


Punkie Johnson: "I love cooking. It's very therapeutic for me. I started cooking in my dressing room because there's a lot of downtime on sets, so I just started throwing stuff in the air fryer. I used plastic forks, plastic spoons, no chopping board."


Kristen Kish: "East of here in Montreal, they have their own version of New York's bodega."


Gail Simmons: "Depanneurs, or deps, as we call them, are the equivalent of a convenience store. For your Quick Fire challenge, we turned our Top Chef pantry into our very own depanneur."


Kristen Kish: "And since it's Montreal, most of the items are labeled only in French."


Kristen Kish: 'You'll have to make a dish with things that you can only find in the Top Chef dep. But that's not all. In honor of our guest judge, you're only going to have access to what Punkie had access to to cook your dish. That means the hotline and those knife rolls are off limits for this challenge. The only cooking equipment that you're going to have access to is the electrical equipment that you can find in the pantry. You have just 30 minutes to do your shopping in the Top Chef dep and to create your dishes."
