Prue Leith: "Mini sandwich cakes. This looks like quite a simple challenge, but what we're really looking for is a bit of originality.

Paul Hollywood: "They can choose any sponge they want. But we want it to be small, packed with flavor, full of their personality. It's the first time the bakers are going to show us what they can bake. So this is really important."

Prue Leith: "We want to see their skills. They need to be absolutely identical. Absolutely delicious. Perfect sandwich cake is what we want."
